Paul Beam is a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2000-2004.  His family includes three sons, two step-daughters and his wife.  Most of Paul’s career has been in management and human relations.  

​In 2013 Paul decided to make some changes and finish his studies.  During his course of study Paul founded ManCamp in 2015 and would later form the True North organization (2016).  In 2017 Paul graduated from Concordia University where he obtained his B.A. in Communications, Religious Education, and Psychology.  He has since obtained credentials in life coaching, creates and instructs courses for men, hosts the True North Man Podcast, speaks on vision, identity, purpose, and life-change, and is also an ordained minister. 
​Paul’s childhood and life choices have led him down a path where he now feels it is his duty to call men to a higher standard of living lives with purpose and intentionality; Lives of service to others rather than service to self. 




Rob spent 20 years in the Army after graduating from the United States Military Academy (West Point). The first half of his career he served as an infantry officer, completing schools such as Airborne, Air Assault, Pathfinder, and Ranger. He was a platoon leader, scout platoon leader, company executive officer, basic training company commander, infantry company commander, and reconnaissance company commander prior to accepting a position as a professor of Systems Engineering at West Point. Rob then spent the second half of his Army career as an Operations Research and Systems Analysis (ORSA) officer; he attended both Texas A&M University and The University of Texas at Austin for graduate schooling. Rob’s last job as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army was to serve as the Chief of Current Operations for a 100,000+ personnel organization. Since 2019, Rob has worked at Dell Technologies and is now a director of data science, a leader in the field of People Analytics, and serves as a speaker in a variety of forums.



Born in Austin, Jeff has lived the majority of his life in Texas. Jeff completed his undergraduate degree at Texas Christian University and received his Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law.
Husband to Brianna, father to Emery and Memphis, Jeff lives to serve others. He was given his life’s mission from God at the age of 31. This mission, is the ministry of men.
Jeff’s day job is in the healthcare industry as a Director of Product Development for the largest managed care organization in Texas. Jeff’s real job is serving and encouraging men through the word and vision of God. As a member of the True North board of directors, he is responsible for both the financial and legal affairs of the organization. As a member of God’s kingdom, he is responsible for helping men find their purpose and identity in God.
​Jeff firmly believes that each man has been shaped and uniquely called by God to live a life of promise, production, and purpose. He remains eternally humbled and honored to serve God and the men of God through True North.



After graduating college Dale joined the naval service and earned his commission at Officer Candidate School. His 7 years of service were comprised of tours aboard the USS Gray (FF-1054), Naval Communications Station San Miguel, Philippines, and as a Navy ROTC instructor at the University of Texas.
After leaving the service he joined Dell and spent 17 years in various sales and technical sales roles. He currently works for Insight as a pre-sale engineer for servers, storage & networking hardware.
​Dale has been married to his wife Sheri for 40+ years and they have three daughters. He holds a BA in Russian Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.



Born and raised in McAllen, TX, Kevin moved to central TX in 1996 and graduated with a degree in Resource and Environmental Studies from Southwest Texas State University in 2002. He’s been married to his wife Melissa since 2004 and they have two children; Ava and Brady.
In 2006 he and his family moved to Ohio for a brief but very cold two-years after which they decided to move back to the central TX area…It is after all God’s country.
Kevin is currently Regional Vice President – Gulf Coast region for Tanknology, an environmental compliance firm based in Austin, TX. Previously, Kevin has been an Account Manager, Operations Manager and Regional Manager at Tanknology.
​He joined the True North team to help lead and encourage men, bring them into a relationship with or restore their relationship with Christ, and of course get them into the F’n fight – ManCamp lingo for the many F words we use to “F”ight life’s battles.



Andrew exists to speak life, drive purpose and improve efficiency.
Growing up in Minnesota, he was active in the community and the athletic arena. Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and excelling on the football gridiron, Andrew went on to earn DIII All-American honors his senior year of college.
Since moving to Texas, Andrew has been focused on the recruitment industry- spanning multiple industries and impacting thousands of people. He now serves as an Executive Briefing Manager with Indeed- where he helps people get jobs.
He is an avid athlete and a huge proponent of living a strenuous life.
​He and his wife, Caitlyn, have been married 10 years and have two children, Josie (3) and Atlas (1)



Barney is a Psychiatrist whose primary work for the past twenty years has been delivery of counseling and psychiatric consultation to members of the international missionary community.
​He is father to two daughters, two son-in-law, five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
He has a love for reading and music and is gifted in teaching, coaching, and counseling the most complex subjects and cases.
Often Barney finds both the need of and sees the benefit of having a location for rest, renewal, and restoration in a peaceful setting. Barney is excited to be part of True North Ministries and its vision to provide such an opportunity to men from all over the world.
